Simplix provides clients the simplest, quickest, and most painless method for invoicing the federal government. While not all agencies can except electronic invoices, some can and some even pay you faster if you invoice electronically.
Details for various agencies can be found on their individual web pages. We are starting to break down each of the different entities we provide electronic commerce for and instructions for dealing with them. Hopefully, this will help eliminate some of the confusion in doing business with so many different agencies.
If we can invoice electronically, you should see fields for creating a return document on the purchase order. You should also check the site file to see if there are any special instructions.
For example, if you are receiving paper Purchase Orders from DLA supply centers you can elect to receive them via EDI. Check the Supply Center page for where to send your information.
Vendors can now recieve remitance advice from MOCAS and SAMMS invoices, thus eliminating the need to pay your bank for this service. This is being integrated into the standard Simplix process. So now you will know when the government sends money to your account. This should include the acccount number so if funds are misrouted you will know immediately.
