The Department of Defense has decided to no longer permit EDI registrations to Central Contractor Registration as of the middle of January. We do not have a firm date yet.

Simplix advises you to go to Edit Full Registration on your client account home page and verify all of the information and resubmit it now. That will update CCR and validate you for the rest of 2001.

Simplix will continue to register you with other electronic registration systems -- it is only CCR that will no longer allow EDI registrations. Because Simplix remains committed to making a common, easy-to-use interface to all major government purchasing system, we are investigating automating CCR registration for you via Simplix to the CCR web site. However, as CCR is:

1. changing the web site at the same time they are dropping EDI and

2. providing no way to test the new registration web site,

There will be another announcement when CCR can no longer be updated via EDI. You will still receive a confirmation of registration via EDI.
